AME Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

An aircraft maintenance engineer is responsible for ensuring an aircraft operates properly and safely.

An aircraft maintenance engineer is responsible for ensuring an aircraft operates properly and safely. A maintenance engineer may make repairs, troubleshoot problems, conduct inspections and make upgrades to aircraft. Daily duties may include inspections specified by the respective Aviation Authorities, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs and record-keeping of all maintenance activities.


License A1 :- Category A1 licence holder to issue certificates for release to service after minor scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectification within the limits of maintenance tasks for Aeroplane with jet engine.


License A4:- Category A1 licence holder to issue certificates for release to service after minor scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectification within the limits of maintenance tasks for Helicopter with piston engine.


License B1.1:- Category B1.1 license holder to issue the certificate for the release to service of aeroplane with jet engine.


License B1.4:- Category B1.4 license holder to issue the certificate for the release to service of helicopter with piston engine.


License B2:- Category B2 license holder to issue the certificate for the release to service the avionics and electrical system of aircrafts
